Madalynn is a management consultant specializing in workforce development, organizational strategy, and cross-sector partnerships. She holds a Master of Public Administration. Her career has focused on helping people access opportunity by building partnerships among employers, educational institutions, nonprofits, and community organizations. Throughout her career, she's worked extensively in workforce development and training, including teaching financial literacy to high school students and providing workforce development services to students enrolled in Eden Prairie Schools' TASSEL Transition Program.
She was born and raised in the West Metro. She and her husband have lived in Eden Prairie since 2021 and are raising their two children here. As a parent, she's had the opportunity to experience our schools not only through her children but also as a volunteer. She regularly participates in Books and Breakfast events in the classroom and volunteers on school field trips.
She previously ran for the Minnesota House in 2018, where one of her priorities was special education funding. During that campaign, she was endorsed by Education Minnesota. She was invited into local high school classrooms to speak with students about Minnesota state government. She discussed the role of a state representative, the importance of civic participation, and encouraged young people to become informed and engaged voters.
She decided to run for the Eden Prairie School Board because she believes our schools are one of our community's greatest strengths, and she wants to help ensure they remain places where every student has the opportunity to thrive. Throughout her career, she has worked to bring together people with different perspectives, solve complex problems, and build partnerships that create meaningful opportunities. She hopes to bring the same collaborative, thoughtful approach to the School Board while keeping students at the center of every decision.
